‘Yeh Mera India’ boasts of names like Anupam Kher, Perizaad Zorabian, Purab Kohli, Parveen Dabbas, Rajit Kapoor, Rajpal Yadav, Sarika, and Seema Biswas, and Vijay Raaz in the star cast. You will also find Atul Kulkarni, Milind Gunaji, Smily Suri, Sayaji Shinde, and Ashwin Mushran playing significant roles. The music has been provided by Kavita Seth, Siddharth, and Suhas, while Kavita Seth, N. Chandra, and Aasrif Dehlvi are the lyricists.

‘Yeh Mera India’ tries to explore the reality behind the myriad news reports that we see on the television and read in the newspapers everyday. Most of us tend to take it in a very normal sense, since the happenings are very far away from us. We hardly try to look behind the violence and atrocities that are taking place around us or find their root cause. This is where the movie steps in and tries to make us explore the real truth.

‘Yeh Mera India’ delves into the basic reason behind the violence that is plaguing the world today – bias. Right from the racial bias, communal bias, caste bias, and class bias, to the gender bias, lingual bias and immigrant bias, it attempts to explore each one in detail. At the same time, it tries to bring to the fore the ability of people to redeem themselves at any given point of time, thus proving that behind every bad news, there are chances of good news as well.

‘Yeh Mera India’ revolves around the life of 12 people, each of whom belongs to a different stratum of the Mumbai city. It covers one day in the life of these 12 individuals, in which each one of them starts with a specific goal in mind. However, by the end of the day, what they achieve is completely opposite to what they had intended. Still, in this reversal of fortune, the bad changes to good and not vice-versa.
